• Introductory Bodywork and Therapist Training
  December 28 - 29, 2008
  The introductory course will be offered for people who already have workshop experience or trainings; therapists and people working in helping professions who would like to join the advanced course but do not have prior training in bodywork.

• Advanced Bodywork and Therapist Training
  December 29, 2008 - January 3, 2009
  This training is designed for practitioners of bodywork and people working in helping professions who wish to refine and to develop their practise. This course will bring skills, experience and awareness to be able to work more consciously with other people.

  This course will include:
  • Morning movement, Chi Gong and meditation class
  • Consciousness of touch and presence while working with clients
  • New deep tissue bodywork moves, like working with joint release for the neck, the pelvic floor, the jaws, the adductors etc.
  • Developing, trusting and using intuition and meditation to enhance your work and your own well-being Working
  • Working with psychic readings from the heart in combination with other techniques
  • The needs and issues of working as a therapist
  • Integrating body language and counselling techniques in bodymind therapies
  • Supervision

  Price: price: $875 (includes food and accommodation) $550 for the training. $325 for accommodation and food.

Menlha Bruneau
Menlha is the founder and director of Hacienda del Sol Retreat center and also the founder and main teacher of The Kootenay School of Rebalancing.

Rebalancing bodywork is a compilation of deep tissue and joint release bodywork, psychotherapy,bodyreadings with meditation being the essence.

• A daily group activity including rituals, excursions into nature, sunsets at the beach, longer periods of silence, as well as two guided daily meditations will be part of the program. A part of the day is also reserved to follow your own flow at the beach, in the hammock, hugging trees.
• The circle of the meditative group will support each of the participants to allow a true rebirth of your body, mind and spirit.
