Each individual participant will find their own voice in a safe
and supportive environment. Special voice techniques will help you
discover and expand new ways of expression. We will learn and sing
Indian mantras and spirit songs from all over the world.
Description:
 Singing
is a wonderful key to open a door to yourself, to other people and
the whole of existence. While we sing, many powerful healing forces
are activated: deepening our breath and releasing tension and stress
through the beneficial vibrations of sound, harmonizing and revitalizing
body and soul, and healing emotional wounds. Singing is like a friend,
filling our hearts with joy and bringing us right into the here
and now. We come into contact with our creativity, playfulness and
self expression.
Workshop leaders
Gitama learned to play the side flute early in her life. Later
she began to work with the Indian bamboo flute and took many years
of private singing lessons. She studied art at the art academy in
Muenster, Germany.
Kabir plays guitar and the Indian sitar. He sings, composes and
is a music producer. Both have practiced meditation for many years
and are meditation leaders
They are living presently in a spiritual growth community 'Pacha
Mama" in
Costa Rica, giving workshops and singing events. Every year they
travel in Europe and share their work. In 2003 they released their
first cd, "music from within", in 2005 they lived in Italy
Lately they had the opportunity to build their own recording studio
right in the forest in Pacha Mama and then recorded "Pacha
Mama Colors" with a compilation of musicians living in Pacha
Mama.
